Svartifoss (Black waterfall) is my favourite of waterfalls, the number one. It reminds me (and many others) of the Sibelius monument in Helsinki. Maybe the artist has visited this place. Who knows.
Svartifoss is in the Skaftafell's National Park, which is a part of Vatnajökull National Park. Vatnajökull, the biggest glacier in Europe.
