Lauantaina on kirpputoripäivä! Love it, love it!

On the couch
I'm back in Helsinki. It is cold, rainy and stormy. Miserable, I'd say. Computer's hard drive is totally full, so no pictures before I remove older pictures away.
Be good.

Les pommes
In the neighbour there is a farm from where you can pick apples for a tarte tatin by yourself. I think we got just enough (in total 65 kg of apples).
3103
Arne Jacobsen, chair 3103. Amazing thing is that I know this chair's story from the beginning until present. I really wish I manage to get it home in safe.
J's father will send it by post, after all the package would be been a bit difficult in the Paris metro. I hope the post wont lost my new baby!

Saint Malo
One word: The Sea.
Saint Malo is a beautiful small city by the sea. At the autumn most of the tourists are gone and you can walk on your own on the beach. The wind is mild and the birds are flying away.

Cancale's oysters were fine for Louis XIV, so I might eat some as well
Cancale is famous for its oysters. This small village happened to be on our way from St Malo to Le Havre, so stopped to have a special lunch: 13 oysters for 4,50 euros!
Le Havre
Le Havre has my heart. Or should I rather say, someone there stole it totally. Little Zadig is just amazing. Thank you for your hospitality and your wonderful company.

With the kids
These first days has been basicly eating and spending time with the kids. I don't mind at all. Their new trampoline has been in hard use and even though some jumps end up for crying they just have to get back again and again.

When the last night dinner turns to the lunch (and a dinner again)
Huh, ranskalaiset.
Huh, ranskalaiset.

Where is my Prada?
Takitkin on ihan tyhmiä. Annan juuri itselleni sapiskaa.

Mini woolen socks factory
I made new pair of woolen socks for myself and there was still some wool left: I started to knit some mini socks. I'm wondering, who's little feet fit in these. Maybe next week I will have a chance to give away a pair or two. At last during the Christmas time.
Or then J can use it as small cover for his phone.

Goat cheese
Warm goat cheese salad. That it is, the savour of Monday evening with a glass of wine. On Saturday ended my eating-only-yogurt-season. Honestly, when I'm alone, don't feel to cook for myself only.
One of us is feeling blue, because of the rain, clouds and darkness. He's heard that in France the weather is amazing now: +28, sunny and warm. He is sure that the weather will change by Saturday. I think he has been too long in Finland, because he has adapted the Finnish mentality: the pessimism.

Kuurna
Yesterday he came back from China. Finally. I had booked a table in the restaurant Kuurna, where we haven't been before. It has been there in Kruununhaka already for years, but somehow we have just missed it. I love their interior. It's something what I've thought I can't ever find in Helsinki.
But I did, only few kilometers away from my home. Lovely.
PS. Their hard rye bred (näkkäri) is amazing.

Fours hours on the boat and you are fresh again
Olimme työporukalla kuunari Astridilla virkistäytymässä ja sanomassa haikeat jäähyväiset yhdelle meistä. Ilma oli upea, syksyn lämpimin päivä koskaan. Ruoka oli hyvää ja maisemat kauniita.
