Task of the weekend: sleeping

Now, when the polar night has taken all of us, it's difficult to see the sun light even here in Helsinki. It's especially rare, if you happen to sleep until afternoon. It seems that I have had some lack of sleep lately and probably the jet lag is still interfering, because on Saturday and Sunday I slept until after noon. Gosh, I really don't like to spend my days sleeping, especially not at this time of the year, when you don't see any daylight.

Yesterday there was a nice little gig in Adam's: Sin Cos Tan released their first album. Today I've spent my day inside with the candle light, eating and reading. I hope tomorrow morning I'll be up a bit earlier than at noon.

A Happy Day @Flow

Huoratron

I saw/ heard one song of Huoratron before Black Keys yesterday at Flow. It was something I could get to know better later on. Heavy and dark. I know my sis loves this, so the picture is for you. Tonight one of my dream is coming true: I will finally see Björk. My heart is beating already..

Our small town library didn't have amazing music collections at the 90's, but the did have Björk's Post. Oh, those times.

Let's keep Olavi here a bit longer

I have some sort of "Olavi-epoch" going on. About this video; I haven't decided, if I like it or not. But it's interesting.

Beautiful Sami language

This music video is from a Finnish TV-series called Märät säpikkäät - Njuoska bittut. These two super women are talented Finnish-Sami girls, who make Sami people modern and visible in Finland at the moment. 


They are amazing chicks and this video is a beautiful one! The song is originally PMMP's Rusketusraidat, but Suvi and Kirste made new lyrics for it.

Monday, Lundi, maanantai. Not that bad after this.

Shrivelled

Hoh.

This non-winter is sucking all my good energy. I don't feel taking pictures, I'm in the middle of two books (other is boring, other seems to be good), I'm in the middle of two different knitting projects (they will be ready maybe next autumn).

I feel that I'm in the middle of everything and not heading anywhere. I have no idea, what's going to happen in the coming February. Everything is open and at at the same time everything is settled. Somewhere deeply inside me, I'm also a tiny bit afraid. I wish it will change to excitement.

Oh, I just heard from the radio that Björk is coming to Finland next summer for Flow festival! This day just became a bit brighter!
