Gandalf Spice, he does exist. Though I didn't eat him. Just saw him in Tallinn. 

A little detachment

 

Tallinn is great. And it's even better, when you go there with your dear friend. There it really feels that you are abroad and even further away, because Tallinn feels more international city compared to Helsinki. 

There are plenty of good restaurants and pretty cafes, where you can treat yourself well. And this time (of course) everything was again said around food. :) 

If you are not sure, you might also end up in the rat holes and shit restaurants. But Von Krahl's Aed (Embassy of pure food) and Sfäär wont let you down.

When you think your organs have changed their places inside you, then you're sure you had a blast..

Last week I made a trip to snowy Tallinn

Vietimme työpaikan pikkujouluja poikkeuksellisesti omien toimistoseinien ulkopuolella ja lähdimme kertaheitoilla merta edemmäs kalaan: Tallinnaan. Viime perjantaina etelänaapurissa oli vuosikymmenen lumimyrsky ja fiilikset aamulla oli kuin Siperiaan olisi muilutettu. 

Tallinna on kuitenkin niin kaunis ja vihdoinkin pääsin visiitille Kumuun eli Viron taidemuseoon. Upea rakennus, hienoja töitä, mutta tuolloin vallinneelle mielentilalle niitä töitä oli aivan liikaa. Muutama hieno työ sykähdytti - jostakin syystä 20-40-luvun virolaistaide kolahti. Voimakkaita värejä, modernismia, teollisuutta ja sotaa.

Arrived (safely) from Tallinn. It was a very nice, but also eyes opening trip (Super Alko, never ever again!!). On the way back we had so much wine and other booze in the car that it was almost illegal. Even though it's not. But is should be.
