Who could stop the time?

Voi tätä hommien määrää. Kauniit ja aurinkoiset päivät menevät toimistossa istuen ja tuntuu, että tällä tavalla ihana kesä valuu ohi aivan huomaamatta. Kurkkua kuristaa ja harmittaa. Onneksi kotona sentään odotti vakuutusyhtiön päätös varastetun kameran korvauksista. Niin, se on itse asiassa tälle viikolle jo kolmas iloinen uutinen. Ensimmäinen oli ystävien naimakaupat ja toinen erään toisen vesimiesvauva. Mitähän sitä uskaltaisi huomiselta odottaa?

PS. Mistä tuntee toimistotyöntekijän? No, tietenkin valkoisista kintuista ja siitä epätoivoisesta katseesta ja hitaasta askeleesta puistolounaan jälkeen.

A little detachment

 

Tallinn is great. And it's even better, when you go there with your dear friend. There it really feels that you are abroad and even further away, because Tallinn feels more international city compared to Helsinki. 

There are plenty of good restaurants and pretty cafes, where you can treat yourself well. And this time (of course) everything was again said around food. :) 

If you are not sure, you might also end up in the rat holes and shit restaurants. But Von Krahl's Aed (Embassy of pure food) and Sfäär wont let you down.

Disappointment turns to be a sunshine?

Yesterday lovely Charlotte Gainsbourg finally arrived to Finland to have a gig in the new festival called Garden Party. At 19.45, when she was supposed to start her set, on the stage wasn't this adorable French-English woman, but some guy telling that sorry, she won't ever climb on that stage even though she is already in the town. 

You can't imagine the amount of disappointment I had: the only reason to go to that festival was Charlotte. The tickets were a bit too expensive to hang out in the park to listen to something, I didn't know or care. I hope today will make it up - I will jump soon to the boat to Tallinn!

What is the best place to enjoy summer?

What is your favourite place to enjoy Summer? I have many, but there is always the special island in Savo.

I don't know from where I could find a magic energy button

There are still some weeks before my short summer break, but lots to do at work. If someone knows, how to get some extra energy (and hours) to enjoy this summer also outside of office, please tell me the secret. I love wild flowers, now I'm just afraid that I will totally miss their blooming season. I need to slow down before it's too late!

The cutest guy of our family must be Riki (sorry J & J). He is such a character and sometimes he can be a bit demanding.

Midsummer is over, now we're waiting for the winter

No, not really. I'm still waiting for the summer. After a great weekend, returning to work isn't easy. 

Tomato-mozzarella salad

So good and oh, so simple. Tomato-mozzarella salad is one of my favourite salads at the summer, when you get easily tasty tomatoes.

You only need good and fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, olive oil, salt and pepper. If you happen to have some fresh basil, it will finalize this beautiful and tasty salad.

Slice the tomatoes, mozzarella, put them as you wish on the plate. Pour a thinly some good olive oil, add pinch of salt and pepper. Et voilà!

PS. If you don't have any mozzarella, try with the cheese you have in your refrigerator: brie, blue cheese or as we did with Le Saint Albray.
